The Joker by Pen-Tacular-Artist The Joker by Pen-Tacular-Artist
Decided to redraw a picture of heath ledgers joker, as i was not happy with my first attempt. It's turned out okay and i am relatively happy with it now (I was happy with it, but not anymore will be doing some more).

Here are some of my other 'fanart' graphite drawings.

The drawing was done on A3 bristol Board with standard and mechanical graphite pencils.

You have improved substantially after looking at this old joker and your most recent Joker!
Keep of the great work :D

Great picture. His facial features are slightly different from Heath Ledger's portrayal, but after all the Joker is a comicbook character drawn by multiple artists, so I'm not complaining.

I love this, I absolutely love this. Damn it this is amazing.

I know how friggin' hard hair can be to draw sometimes but this looks so good. I am incredibly impressed.

Thanks alot. This was really a practice drawing (i do not like it) as i had only started using graphite. I will be redoing the joker a few more times. But as i havee now got used to graphite it will be loads better than this. And yes the hair was a massive pain in the butt.

It's pretty damn good for a practise run. (My first few graphite portraits were terrible) It's funny though, because they get easier a lot more quickly than you expect. :)

Thaks. But i'm in the process of doing a run of 'dark knight' fanart. Starting with batman himself (posting the 1st WIP today). Then going to do the joker again, so keep an eye out.

Thank you. This is my all time favorite super-villian. He creeps me out though....but I think he does that to every one. The detail and shading is great and I really like the background!

I never liked the joker until heath ledgers performance. Now his joker is not only my favourite villain but also the best acting i've ever seen. And to be honest i really don't like this drawing. I'm improving all the time and i will only attempt the joker again when i can do heath ledgers joker justice. As this was only done 4 weeks earlier rom my spiderman one and my technique is better already, So keep an eye out.

It's really amazing that Nolan chose to completely eliminate the Smilex facor to the character, now the Joker's Glasgow Grin(tm) is self-inflicted with knives and he never uses any poisonous gas on anybody, yet people who liked his performance still point and say, "That's The Joker!"

That's actually what i actually wanted to title this drawing but chickened out. I am going to do another one, which will be alot better than this one, and i might be brave enough to title it 'why so serious'this time.
