This has been a pretty tough drawing to do, not just technically but more the emotional aspect of it. As I've wanted to draw someone crying for a while for the first time. So I tried to find a photo of someone crying, but most of them just looked fake, until I saw this photo of a women crying.
I was reluctant to draw it at first, as I knew the grief was real and wasn't sure why she was crying but obviously she seems like she's in a lot of distress. So I initially decided to leave it as I thought it might be inappropriate. But unfortunately it was one of those photos that I just could not get out of my head, so reluctantly I had to draw it.
I've made some changes to the original reference photo, with the main one being the tears. As there was not many visible tears on the original pic, so she looks a lot more distressed than she really was. I also changed the clothes and jewelery a bit so it does not resemble the reference photo exactly.
