Loki - ” ENOUGH! You are, all of you, beneath me. I am a God you dull creature, and I will not be bullied by…”
Anyone that has seen the Avengers knows happens next, when the hulk says...
The Hulk - “Puny God…”
Finally finished this 'A4 graphite drawing' of 'Loki' from my favourite scene in the 'Avengers'. Which took me longer than usual as i had other things to do, so had no time to finish it until today. And this may actually be my favourite scene of all time from any movie.
As anyone that has watched the movie knows that the Hulk grabs Loki and smashes him around like a rag doll and walks of saying 'Puny God', hence the title. And this drawing of Loki is the immediate aftermath of him being smashed about. With Loki lieing on flloor with the concrete around him cracked and with him bleeding and in looking up in shock and horror.
The drawing was done on A4 Bristol Board paper using standard and mechanical graphite pencils. Approximately 15 hours to complete.
This is a key comic relief scene in the Avengers movie. Amongst all the fighting , this is a truly epic scene. I like the detailing you did on Loki's gauntlets. His expression is real funny too, he seems to be truly dazed. Although , it would have been more dramatic if you had done one of Hulk swinging Loki around. The debris around him is nicely detailed too. The detailing of his hands is nicely done too. I especially like the detailing you gave the veins on his hand. His ear looks a tad weird though. However a great pic overall...
I was very impressed with the attention to detail. Everything from the wrinkles and folds in the leather to the scars and pits in his armor to the dust and blood on his face is all outstanding. The look on his face was captured wonderfully and conveys every amount of pain that the actor used in the scene. While fanart of this particular scene is not something that's new, rarely is it anywhere near as good as this, and none have been as good. Overall, I have no complaints for this piece and look forward to seeing more quality work like this from the artist.
OMG, THIS SCENE!!! Is my favorite with the scene of "I have a whole army" "We have the Hulk" hahahahahaha (sorry for the bad translation, I just remember how the phrases were in portuguese). Great job!!! The details are so perfect!!
