'Iron Man' graphite drawingby *Pen-Tacular-Artist

Firstly i would just like to thank my watchers who helped me again, to perservre during another long and tedious drawing process which i regularly posted on DD (they know who they are).

This is a graphite drawing of 'Iron Man'. Altough his not one of my favourite superheroes, I decided to reluctantly jump on the bandwagon and finally draw him. And i've seen numerous drawings of iron man on DD, some of which are incredible which is another reason why i was intialy reluctant to draw him.

So I decided to make mine different and unique from the rest by adding the 'Stark industry' building right behind him. And have Iron Man look like his hovering above the city keeping a watchfull eye. Which is something have not seen anyone do yet (i hope).

I'm gonna take a rest from 'fan art' for a week or two and start doing some practiseing drawing celebrity portraits (which is my weakness).

The drawing was done on A3 bristol board with standard and mechanical graphite pencils.

I am a HUGE fan of Iron Man so it's kind of obvious that I like this piece of art. This is the Mark 4 suit if I am not mistaken. I quite like the detailing you did int the groove in his mask, revealing a few wires in the gaps. The proportions on this are spot on. I also like the fact that you put the Stark Tower in the background and if my eyes are not deceiving e there are people huddled together watching him from the roof, just above the letter "R" in STARK.
