David Beckham Portrait

This is a graphite drawing that was inspired by an incredible colour pencil artist on deviantart 'A-D-I--N-U-G-R-O-H-O'. When i first came on deviantart a few weeks ago his portrait of david beckham blew me away, and i thought one day i will try to draw it myself. Bravely or stupidly i decided now was the time and after nearly 30 hours it's finished, and i am pleased with it.

This was also my first 'ever' male portrait, so some areas like drawing the beard were a new experience for me. But it has also turned out to be my best one yet and i learnt alot from drawing it, which i will use in my future drawings.

The drawing was done on A3 bristol board using standard and mechanical graphites pencils.
